Filomena joined the International Department of Studio Legale Metta in 2011, where she focuses on Real Estate, Corporate and Inheritance while preparing for the Italian bar.
In 2008, she earned a Master Degree in Law with a focus on International matters, cum laude, at Università di Bologna (University of Bologna).
In 2010, she earned her Post Graduate Law Degree LL.M in International and European Economic and Commercial Law, at University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
In 2008 Filomena was an intern for four months at the Italian Embassy in Copenhagen, deepening her knowledge of economics and commercial matters, through conducting macro-economic analyses of the Danish Government’s policies and procedures as well as monitoring the bilateral commercial relations with Italy.
Furthermore, during this internship, she was active at the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (Istituto del Commercio Estero) working on publications dealing with legal research, country profiles and commercial regulations.
Subsequently, in 2010, she had a five month internship at the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) in Geneva, Switzerland, a no-profit research institute where she worked on research related to international investment treaties and investment disputes.
