Q. What are the main formalities to think about when drawing up an Italian Will?
A. Italian Wills are typically subject to several formalities and restrictions not applicable in other legislations. For instance, if not signed in front of a notary, an Italian Will shall be either fully handwritten and shall include date and signature. If it is typed on a computer, printed and signed in front of witnesses it is not valid unless a notary assesses the parties’ identity.
