After several failed attempts trying to contact the Italian consulate, my attorney here in the United States recommended I give them a call. I met with Mr. Metta first via a phone conversation in which he gathered all the necessary information. Then his colleague Mr. Gambino was in constant contact via email, informing me of the progress. The whole process was painless from start to finish.
