Things to note:

• If you’re applying for a child’s tax code, you will need to upload both the child’s passport and a parent’s passport.
• If you already have a tax code but do not have your certificate, you can request a ‘duplicate’ on page 5 of the form.
• You will receive an official Italian Codice Fiscale certificate like this SAMPLE.
• The Italian Codice Fiscale certificate will be registered with the Italian Tax Office and will have the same validity as an Italian Codice Fiscale card like this SAMPLE
• You will need a printer. The Italian Tax Authority requires the forms to be signed with a pen (digital signatures are not allowed).
