11 January 2023 – We began the process of buying a house in Umbria last February and immediately ran into many problems and delays. Fortunately we were working with Nicola Iannone from S.L.M. from the very beginning. He was terrific to work with, gave us exceptional advice, and closed the deal in spite of many many obstacles. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for representation anywhere in Italy. Both Nicola and Nick Metta also set our expectations correctly from the beginning about timelines. We closed in January, not quite a year from the beginning of our search. While we think this was unusually long, we are happy with the deal that Nicola helped us close, and we feel we have a new friend in Italy forever, as well as a property that we will enjoy for life.
