Douglas worked for years in Brazil as a labor lawyer when in 2019 he decided to move to Italy to apply for the recognition of his Italian citizenship based on his Italian bloodline. Thus, he learned in practice the details of the procedure, delving deeper and deeper into the subject. Today he works in the area of Immigration and Citizenship with a focus on the recognition of Italian citizenship. He also works in out-of-court processes of international law.
