Studio Legale Metta has been selected for the Short List of 2011 Best Italian Law Firm in the southern region for the prestigious TopLegal Awards 2011.
This nomination by TopLegal, the most important Italian legal journal, recognizes SLM’s drive for excellence in the practice of Italian law as well as the firm’s commitment to its clients across the globe. The selection was concurred by an internal panel of researchers at TopLegal based on several criteria, such as overall growth, industry knowledge, new hires and employee retention. From the nomination pool, the short list was then established by a peer voting process, which reflects SLM’s recognition as a top Italian law firm by its professional peers.
Commenting on the selection, partner and head of the International Department Nick Metta said, “We are delighted to receive this nomination and have our hard work acknowledged by the industry and our peers. In 2009 SLM ranked in the Top 3 for this award, and is proud of its continued presence among the best. This year’s winners will be selected by an independent panel of experts and announced at the TopLegal Awards ceremony in Milan on 21 November 2011.
