Question: What are the main formalities to think about when drawing up an Italian Will?
Answer: Italian Wills are typically subject to several formalities and restrictions not applicable in other legislations. For instance, if not signed in front of a notary, an Italian Will shall be either fully handwritten and shall include date and signature.
If it is typed on a computer, printed and signed in front of witnesses it is not valid unless a notary assesses the parties’ identities.
